Meeting Minutes
Sunday, October 8th, 2006

Steve says that if you wanna be SIH Senator, come see him very soon. Its paid position. See him before Thursday to be in the running. Limit 3 applicants per SIH. Steve also says you can submit a design to him for SIH shirts, that all SIH’s will wear at Halloween.

Colin says he is a liar, and there really will be HOGS logos put in the lounge this week.

Colin also says that we vote to see if we will give $150 to FRITE Night (That passed, by the way). On Friday October 27th, 10:30 PM -1:30 AM is when the decorating will take place for the Halloween Dance. Go to Colin’s room for that. Also, HOGS will decorate its own floor like always, and since we spend literally all night doing it, it is a great chance to get social points.

Gio says that if you want to be an RA, there is a special presentation for SIH RA’s that you should attend.

Gio says we need more than 9 people to show at Dean’s Meetings. Gio will work on seeing if there is a better time. Remember, there is a brain-storming session in the Red Lounge on Tuesday October 10th at 8:00PM, and Dean’s Meeting on Wednesday October 10th at 6:00 PM. Gio also says that in order to earn the pizza party, we need 22 HOGS members to attend the Friday Speakers. They must be On/Off Floor HOGS, not just random people that add up to 22.

Jermany says that because the Red Barn people won’t talk to him, that we will have HOGS Figure skating Night next Saturday Oct 14th at 7:00 PM. Jermany adds that if 20 people show at the Dean’s meeting it will count a social event. HOGS also plans to have Laser Tag soon (using Germany and Russia as the teams, of course!).

Belinda and Vincent L say to not mess up the lounges, it is not cool for the person who has to clean the lounges to have to deal with it. Vincent says there is a list of the lounge cleaning rotation on the lounge door. Look at it. Belinda says to close the lounge doors at night so we don’t get our things stolen. If you live across from a lounge, close it at night before bed. (Colin, Jermany, Zach and Alex, this means you). Vincent C and Curry 2 are to care for lounges this week.

Mouse says all Committee Heads and the Eboard have accounts on the HOGS website ( hogs.rit.edu) Mouse is the Admin, and he has the right to delete posts he thinks are dumb (and if Mouse thinks what you have to say is dumb then “God rest your souls”, says Steve). Mouse adds that he is lending his dvd player to HOGS, so take care of it, its personal property on loan. Please use the projector for social events. Basically don’t use it alone, invite other HOGS to enjoy the projector. Mouse is working on a print-server, making a functional PC of the parts he and the Tech lounge has. And the Macs will not sit in the lounges until we have proper security. ::Whew::

Zander says the Library is moving along nicely, and will be done soon. Zander is also giving you until next Sunday, October 15th at Midnight to sign up on the House CD. Forget to do this, and who knows what Zander may list as your favorite song. Keep posting on the weekly polls.

Not Pete said that Brick City kinda failed, so if you participated in it, go to Not Pete to get credit. There will be a Hayride type thing in October for Community Service. See Not Pete for details. Someone says that that working in a certain haunted house can count towards community service. (Whoever you were, come tell Sarah again, she’s an old lady, and gets very senile).
